All Electric MG Cyberster

Penton MG Salisbury has now been confirmed as one of a small selection of Cyberster distributors in the UK.  Coming Summer 2024 and available to order before the end of March, Cyberster will be the world's first mass produced all-electric sports car.

The Cyberster with its dual electric motor and all-wheel drive configuration confirms its status as the fastest accelerating and most powerful production car to have worn the iconic MG badge.

The car will cover 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in 3.2 seconds. Power output is 544PS (400kW) with maximum torque of 535 lb ft (725 NM).

The single motor Cyberster will deliver power figures of 340PS (250kW) with the maximum torque available confirmed at 350 lb ft (475 NM). The 0-62mph (0-100km/h) sprint time will be just 5.2 seconds.

The Cyberster’s remarkable styling will be further enhanced with an evocative range of paint colours and finishes.  The Dynamic Red launch colour will be joined by New English White and two metallic paint choices, Camden Grey and Cosmic Silver. A dramatic Inca Yellow will be offered as a premium option. Both black and roof colours will also be offered for Cyberster models.

A pre-production design model of MG’s revolutionary all electric sports car, the Cyberster, has hit the road for a unique seven-month journey from London to Shanghai; an adventure that will see the two-seat convertible drive over 10,000 miles across continents to mark MG’s centenary in 2024.

The Cyberster is piloted by British identical twin adventurers, Ross and Hugo Turner, whose expeditions include rowing across the Atlantic Ocean and traversing Greenland’s Ice Cap.

Unfazed by range anxiety, the road trip will allow MG fans across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, India and China to see and experience the Cyberster’s leading-edge interior and exterior styling, and witness the technical capabilities of the dual motored car..

The Cyberster’s stand-out styling – envisioned by Gotham and his design colleagues at MG’s design studio in Marylebone, London – draws inspiration from MGs heritage, with signature design highlights including a distinctive long bonnet, low nose and curvaceous surfaces. The Cyberster will also introduce some striking new features, including scissor doors and a Kammback rear design.

The two-seater Cyberster marks a keenly anticipated return to sports car production by the MG marque, with the car bringing the story right up to date with a high performance all-electric powertrain and a modern cabin featuring an array of advanced driving technologies.
